As of yesterday, Xbox owners will be able to use their new dashboard update to access a range of new TV apps.
While there are many more to roll-out, consumers will now be able to access SBS ON DEMAND, Ninemsn Videos and YouTube from their Xbox dashboard, provided they have installed the recent dash update.
The new applications are all voice-command integrated, and compliment the existing FOXTEL and Zune services on the console.
Still to come are Crackle, The Daily Motion and ABC iView. The competition between video services offered by Xbox and Playstation is seemingly heating up, with both rolling out streaming movie and music services, both offering ABC and SBS catchup services and both being commited to being a media hub for the living room.
