Women In Games 2017 nominations extended to March 31

MCV Pacific has today announced that the nomination period for this years Women In Games list, the Gamechangers will be extended to March 31.

The decision was reached due to the overlapping GDC 2017 and PAX East. The Women In Games List, the Gamechangers nominations will now close in line with the nominations for this year's Women In Games Awards.

The list will feature the Top 30 persons who identify as a woman and the contributions they have made to the industry in the past twelve months.

You can nominate yourself or a colleague by submitting the following information to joel.vandaal@mcvpacific.com on or before 5:00 PM AEDT, March 31, 2017.

  • Name
  • Company 
  • What has the nominee contributed to the industry over and above their day-to-day responsibilities in the period between May 1, 2016 and February 31, 2017? 
  • What has the nominee contributed towards the betterment of Women and/or diversity groups within the industry in the period between May 1, 2016 and February 31, 2017?
  • Why should the nominee be included in the 2017 MCV Pacific Women In Games List – The Gamechangers?

The nominees will be judged by a panel of ten senior industry members.

The list will be published in early April, ahead of the soon to be announced Women In Games lunch which will be held in the first week of May.

For the first time this year, the MCV Pacific Women In Games List and Women In Games Awards will be nominated for seperately. MCV Pacific has introduced a number of new categories for this year.
