Ashes Cricket 2013 may have been cancelled but now Don Bradman is striding to the crease.

News of 505 Games and Trickstar Games' misfortune may mean that cricket lovers may have to wait a bit longer than expected, but a cricket game is at least on the way.

Melbourne developer Big Ant has – opportunistically – released a new trailer for Don Bradman Cricket 14 which is due out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC some time in the new year having been in development for some four years.

It promises a career mode, dynamic day and night cycles and, perhaps more importantly, physics that are modelled on events that occur in the actual known universe.

What it lacks, however, is the official Ashes licence. Although perhaps that may now be a good thing.
