Assassin's Creed: Rogue has been officially confirmed and is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360.
Rogue will launch just two weeks after Unity on November 11th.
With the AC series being one of only a handful of 3rd party titles to feature on the Wii U, you can understand the disappointment of Nintendo fans with no AC title coming to the platform this year, with Unity releasing on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Rogue was mostly developed by Ubisoft Sofia, though its Singapore, Montreal, Quebec, Chengdu, Milan and Bucharest studios have also contributed to the title.
Rogue takes place in an all new North American location in the middle of the 18th century, shortly after the Seven Years War with AC:IV's naval game-play elements make a return.
Unlike previous AC's you take on the role of a Templar, Shay Patrick, who turns on his fellow assassins after a perceived betrayal.
Game director Martin Capel said, “We know that there are many Assassin’s Creed fans with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles who want to get their hands on a new Assassin’s Creed game this year”.
“Assassin’s Creed Rogue completes the North American saga started with Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag and gives previous generation console owners an exclusive opportunity to experience fan-requested features, such as playing as a Templar.”
