There's a new Polygon in town

There's a new Polygon in town

Vox Games has ditched its temporary moniker in favour of Polygon, a who's who of journalistic heavy-hitters with some killer art direction.

The idea is to merge the quality of print publications (both linguistically and stylistically) with the online sphere, targeting the kind of gamer who seeks thoughtful opinions, long-form features and essentially a lack of dross, but who, for one reason or another, is no longer a print consumer.

Helming Australia is Tracey Lien (nominee for last year's MCV Pacific Journalist of the Year award for her work at Kotaku), who's Australia's Senior Reporter.

Meanwhile, Polygon is hiring another person to work alongside Tracey in a similar capacity, so the site should have ample local coverage in the months and years to come.
