A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game will launch "just in time for" the latest cinematic outing of the series, says publisher Activision.
The game, simply titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is described as a third-person action game and will release exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS.
Activision says it is built around fast-moving hack-and-slash gameplay and players will be able to swap between the four titular characters at will.
Development is being handled by French studio Magic Pockets, best known for their work on several of Ubisoft's Petz and Imagine games.
The TMNT film is due in September and Activision says the game will be out later this year.
