South Australian Attorney-General calls for classification review of 12 games

John Rau, the South Australian Attorney-General, has called for the Classification Board to review the MA15+ ratings awarded to a dozen games, according to a report on Kotaku Australia this afternoon.

Kotaku states the following games were named by Rau:

  • Alien Rage
  • Borderlands 2 Expansion Packs
  • Company of Heroes 2
  • Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut
  • Deadpool
  • Fuse
  • Gears of War: Judgement
  • God Mode
  • Killer is Dead
  • Splinter Cell Blacklist
  • The Walking Dead
  • The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct

Head of the iGEA, Ron Curry told Kotaku that none of the above games were the subject of public complaints regarding their classification.

"The review is a hundred thousand dollar exercise to satisfy a vocal yet unrepresentative minority," Curry also told Kotaku.
