Sony localises Resistance promotion using visiting dev

While Frank Simon was in town promoting Resistance: Burning Skies, Sony upped the ante by having him shoot an ANZ-specific trailer.

Simon was out in Australia recently for the EB Games Vendor Show, and MCV also had an opportunity to sit down with him and discuss Resistance's role as the preeminent first-persons shooter for handheld devices.

The trailer was shot on location at Sony Computer Entertainment Australia's offices, and was used to push the announcement of Resistance: Burning Skies' 'NEAR' functionality, which instigates a viral ability for players to 'infect' one another while their Playstation Vitas near enough to one another.

Resistance: Burning Skies is out for Playstation Vita on Thursday 31st May for AUD$69.95 or NZD$89.95.
