The options paper for the upcoming federal AUD$20 million games budget has been released today, and is now open for discussion.
All members of the Australian development community are encouraged to download the paper, read through it and make their own suggestions as to how best to allocate the funding.
The paper is asking the industry specific questions about how the funding could be most useful, and Ruth Harley from Screen Australia and Minister Simon Crean have stated that they want the fund to be broad in its capacity to both foster growth in existing companies, as well as fund small teams and individuals.
