Aussie publisher Tru Blu Entertainment today announced that Big Ant Studios, based in Melbourne, is working on Rugby League Live 2.
The game is set to contain 34 stadia, high-ball catching, customised teams, both competitive and co-op play, a 10 year career mode, and is returning from the same developers who handled the first Rugby League Live game.
Sebastian Giompaolo, MD of Tru Blu Entertainment, said: "The demand for a new Rugby League game on Playstation®3 and Xbox 360® has been staggering. We have listened to our fans and we are delighted to make this announcement."
Paul Kind, GM of the NRL, added: “Rugby League Live 2 delivers an innovative new gameplay experience, accurately capturing the speed, creativity and strategy of today’s Rugby league.”
Rugby League Live 2 will be available later this year for PS3 and 360.
