Quickflix bound for Xbox 360 in ANZ later this year

The streaming movie and TV service Quickflix has announced a partnership with Microsoft to add its service to the Xbox 360 roster.

The service will be available only for Xbox Live Gold subscribers, and charges a monthly fee for unlimited access to the service's content.

Stephen Langsford, Quickflix executive chairman and Chris Taylor, CEO, said: "We’re committed to making home entertainment easier for people, and this is our latest step towards providing people the biggest choice possible of how to watch the TV shows and movies they love– whether it’s on a mobile device, smart TV or games console."

Quickflix will join such existing services available on Xbox 360 as ABC iView, SBS ON DEMAND and YouTube when it launches later this year.

The service has already been available on the PC and Playstation 3.
