PwC to brief games industry on consumer behaviour

The theme of the upcoming industry briefing given by PwC is "revolution not evolution."

PwC analyst Megan Brownlow will deliver the briefing in Sydney on August 13 covering revenue forecasts for entertainment and media sectors as well as the firm's research into changing consumer behaviour.

This year's theme was chosen because, accoridng to Brownlow, accelerating change demands more than a gradual response.

"As an industry it’s important that we are aware of changes in consumer behaviour and the impact it will have across our businesses," says IGEA CEO Ron Curry.

"The faster the landscape changes, the more important it is to keep abreast of these changes. Over the years PwC has provided us with these insights. This year’s research delves deeper into behaviours, marketing and content creation."
