PAX Australia international headline guest announced

PAX has had many a star guest in its time, from Gabe Newell to Peter Molyneux.

Australia's first ever PAX (and PAX's first ever international show) will see none other than Ron Gilbert providing a keynote address on the Friday morning called 'storytime'.

Gilbert was a famed creator of adventure games in the 90s, becoming a household name for the Scumm engine, the Monkey Island series and Maniac Mansion.

He's now holed up at Double Fine productions alongside former colleague Tim Schafer, and just released quirky co-op game The Cave for PSN and XBLA.

Penny Arcade has also announced its musical acts in the form of The Protomen, MC Frontalot and the RoosterTeeth crew.

More announcements are expected in the leadup to the July event in Melbourne.
