Following on from the announcement 10 days ago that EBX had passed the half way point on sales, today there are 8'000 tickets left.
It's looking like the expo is well on its way to being the sellout 30'000 attendee event that EB hoped, with only tickets for the Saturday and Sunday daylight sessions remaining.
Deb McGrath, EB National Brand and Events Manager, said: "With today’s epic Wii U announcement along with adding an internationally recognised gaming icon like Charles Martinet to the already amazing list of international guests appearing at the EB Expo, we now expect the event to be pre-sold out.”
The inaugural EBX on the Gold Coast last year came very close to achieving full ticket sales, so if the Sydney show does sell out, it'll more than double the attendees of last year.
