A range of Nintendo Wii product is being reduced to an RRP of AUD$69.95 in time for the Christmas rush.
From 1st December, Nintendo is bundling Wii Sports and its sequel Wii Sports Resort on the one disk. Over 2.7 million Australians have played the franchise (according to sales data collected by Nintendo from retail partner reporting), which has seen its share of hardware bundling along the way, but is still one of the flagship series' on the Wii.
New release Kirby's Adventure Wii will be landing on that same day, and also going out the door at AUD$69.95, with Go Vacation arriving on 17th November at the same price.
With the Wii U releasing next year, this will be Nintendo's last Christmas with only one home console to push in earnest. Presumably the compatibility between the consoles won't end at the controllers, but one thing's for certain - next Christmas will be a very different marketplace.
