Square Enix has confirmed that, following the success of Lara's reboot earlier this year, a new, next-gen Tomb Raider is already in production.
The news first appeared on a blog post by Phil Rogers, European and American CEO for Square Enix, who stated that the 'next-gen blockbuster' was 'well in development'.
It's hardly a series which is likely to be annualised any time soon, however, and with the new hardware to take into account it may yet be some time before the new game is shown in public.
Meanwhile, Rogers also re-upped Square Enix's commitment to triple-A console and PC blockbusters in the wake of concern over the tablet sequel to Deus Ex.
