The "future tech" of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the focus of a new video from Activision.

In the clip, Sledgehammer Games' Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey talk through all the "exciting things [future tech] is going to bring to the player" including hover tanks and mobile shields.

Schofield claims the future tech in the game is "based on technology we see today, but we've taken it further."

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set for release on November 4 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3.

Sledgehammer Games is heading up development. The studio previously worked on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
