NeverDead comes alive in February

Konami's upcoming horror-action title NeverDead has been given a worldwide release date of 3rd February 2012, and has had DLC focus announced.

In a press release this morning, Konami confirmed that NeverDead will 'be the focus of DLC elements and add-ons', as the title gets increased support from the publisher.

While the trailer for the game so far doesn't spend too much time really demonstrating the core mechanic (which is an entertaining exercise in brutality involving an immortal demon-hunter who can have his limbs severed and still fight, even to the extent of rolling around as little more than his own head), it does a great job of setting the scene for what Konami is hoping to be a big hitter for early next year.

NeverDead will be available for PS3 and 360, and is developed in conjunction with Rebellion.
