With Telltale Games' The Walking Dead (based on the comics) surprising many by winning several awards last year, new Walking Dead is very welcome.
That said, the rather B grade looking action shooter 'The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct' from Activision isn't exactly going to rival the biggest and best out there, but there's no reason it can't do the series justice and deliver a killer experience regardless, especially considering the recent success of DayZ in spite of it having a work-in-progress mod status thorughout most of its meteoric rise.
In any case, word has dropped of the pre-order incentives for the title have now been announced, with EB Games pre-order exclusively giving players the 'GameStop Herd Mode Challenge'.
It'll be a wave-after-wave mode where you'll keep on playing until you're eventually overrun, similar to the Call of Duty zombie modes.
Thankfully, this game has already been rated MA15+ in Australia, so it won't attract the kind of pointless delays the Telltale adventure series attracted.
