MMGN to cease full-time editorial operations

The site will incur some major changes, beginning January 14.

Editor, Ben Salter, is set to stand down in a full time capacity from Thursday this week. The site will stay online as a forum and community-driven self-publishing platform, under the guidance of Gaetano Prestia.

Speaking with MCV Pacific, Salter said, "MMGN has been home to a vibrant community for over a decade, and we want to ensure it remains a leading destination for Aussie gamers."

"We began with MyPSP in 2005, which quickly expanded with My360, MyPS3, MyDS and MyWii. The community stuck with us when the network merged to form MMGN in 2010, and we're thankful for their continued support as we embark upon a new chapter."

"It's been a difficult decision for all involved, but Gaetano and I are thankful to be able to continue to run MMGN on our own terms, while we move on to the next chapter of our lives."
