Following the departure last week of Dan Cheer as editor, Gameplanet New Zealand has announced his replacement as Matt Maguire.
Maguire has been writing for Gameplanet since May, and will be responsible for overseeing all NZ writers and growing the NZ audience base moving forward.
James Cullinane, Editorial Director for Gameplanet (and also our Associate Editor over here at MCV), said that Matt had "proven himself to be particularly capable of managing our New Zealand-based writers, and at coordinating the site’s content. Most importantly, Matt has quickly embraced Gameplanet’s ethos, and he understands and shares our vision for the future of our publication."
