Little Space Heroes now speaks eight languages

Sydney-based developer Bubble Gum Interactive (BGI) has announced the rollout of seven new languages for its acclaimed children's virtual universe.

Going further than just translation of in-game text, BGI has implemented on-the-fly translation for its messaing system, which will allow simple benefits such as a player saying “Saudações, Heróis!” in Portugese frmo Brazil, which would then appear in the US as “Greetings heroes!” and in Indonesia as “Halo Pahlawan!”

Paul Gray, Community Director at BGI, said: "Every day tens of thousands of kids from over 50 countries log in and blast off for intergalactic adventures in Little Space Heroes. With our expanded multi-lingual menu chat, kids can now communicate more easily. This makes our rapidly growing community even more inclusive, vibrant and diverse."

Little Space Heroes was partially funded by a Commercialisation Australia government grant given to BGI.
