Little Space Heroes cartoon aiming for 2013

Bubble Gum Interactive's online virtual world for kids, Little Space Heroes, is destined for the small screen next year.

That's the aim anyway, with the Sydney-based developer taking a trailer for its cartoon concept to MIP Junior 2012, which takes place in France on 6th-7th October and connects various interests around children's entertainment.

The cartoon concept was first announced in March alongside many other merchandising and brand extension possiblities.

Phil Mason, CEO of BGI, said: "Our vision is to see the Little Space Heroes toons on TVs around the world in 2013, so we’re looking forward to talking with distributors and production partners when we attend MIP Junior in France."

The target for the cartoon is kids aged 6-9, and follows the adventures of a young space pilot and their friends, tying directly into the game world.
