Jumpbutton returns for a second issue on Monday

Drew Taylor has announced that on Monday his magazine which focuses on the art and substance of videogame culture will drop a second issue.

Issue two is aimed at exploring meaning within videogames, how we attach ideas to games and how art can influence that process.

Editor Drew Taylor said: "Jumpbutton seeks to expose the heart of gaming, the creative self; the search for a higher calling. It's experimental. Not all of it is perfect. In fact, very little of it may be. But my hope is that it strikes you as beautiful; important; honest."

Some key articles in the upcoming issue include pieces on game world travel writing, an interview with indie games magazine illustrator Steve Courtney and an exploration of work versus play theory.

The magazine's digital edition will be available for free, and can be read on MagCloud here or purchased as a print edition.
