Melbourne-based Big Ant studios has handled an HD version of the Halfbrick hit Jetpack Joyride for PSN.
The new version will allow multiplayer in the popular endless flyer, and is the first time the game has made an appearance on home consoles, with previous Halfbrick mega-hit Fruit Ninja previously having seen a Kinect release.
“Jetpack Joyride has come a long way in 2012, and we’re thrilled to bring it to PS3 and Vita,” said Phil Larsen, CMO at Halfbrick. “With the expertise of Big Ant and the huge player base on the Sony Entertainment Network, Barry Steakfries is reaching bigger heights and caps off the year in fine form.”
Big Ant is known for the AFL and Rugby League Live games, as well as two Spyro the Dragon titles.
