James Kozanecki bids farewell to GameSpot

After having worked in various roles at GameSpot since 2006, James Kozanecki is moving on to greener pastures.

Kozanecki began his role straight out of high school in December of 2006, occupying various roles within the company from Associate Producer to (more recently) Community Manager.

Kozanecki said: "Working at GameSpot AU has been an awesome experience. As someone who's read the web site since the very beginning, it's been an honour to work alongside the writers who I idolised."

Randolph Ramsay, Site Manager of GameSpot APAC, added: "James has been a positive and enthusiastic member of the GameSpot AU team, and in the last five years he's single-handedly grown our community into the powerhouse it is today. It's hard to imagine GameSpot without Koz, and while we're sad to see him go, we're excited to see where his next steps will take him."

Kozanecki has been a familiar face in the games industry for many years now, and will likely be so for more years to come.

He concluded: "I genuinely believe we have a great editorial team, and I owe a lot to the people at GameSpot for moulding me into the person I am today. I'll still be in the industry and people will see me around, but they'll have to wait to see where I land."
