Last night, Namco Bandai hosted an event at its offices in Redfern in honour of the upcoming console release of Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Katsuhiro Harada, the creator of Tekken who's been with the series since its inception in 1997, was flown in for the event, which saw some 80 fans come through the doors via GameSpot and the local Tekken community.

Some of Sydney's most hardcore Tekken fans were at the event, with the current Australian champion taking the prize in a mini-competition run by Namco on the night.

The entire event was streamed via Twitch, with fans who unable to attend sending in questions for Harada-san to answer live.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be available on 10th September for PS3 and 360.

A selection of photos from the night is below, or you can jump on Shadowloo's Facebook page for the full gallery.
