Gotham City Imposters delayed

Gotham City Imposters delayed

The first big release for 2012, Gotham City Imposters, has suffered a slight delay into February.

The AAA downloadable release sports frenetic online multiplayer action, pitting jokers against batmen in an arcadey team-based shooting environment driven by chaotic powerups, springboards, grappling hooks and bizarre rule sets.

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment hasn't given a specific reason for the delay, or a new specific date beyond the month of February.

The game itself comes from first-person shooter veterans Monolith, and sits very nicely as an adjunct to the Batman franchise, backing up the key Arkham releases with a high-quality downloadable addition.
