GCAP 2017 opens to over 1,000 attendees

Game Connect Asia Pacific has opened in Melbourne, as a part of Melbourne International Games Week.

This morning's key-note and opening address, officially opened the two day event at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibtion Centre.

GDAA CEO, Tony Reed got proceedings underway before, Creative Victoria's Andrew Abbott and GCAP 's Liam Esler officially opened the event.
This year's opening keynote was delivered by Fullbright's Karla Zimonja and Steve Gaynor, expanding upon this year's theme, The Ripple Effect.

Speaking to MCV Pacific, Esler said, "We're so excited to open GCAP 2017 for the third iteration of Melbourne International Games Week. This GCAP has over 1,000 attendees, and GCAP Loading on the weekend had just under 200. This MIGW is already shaping up to be the biggest and best yet, and I can't wait for the rest of the week!"
