Games Out This Week in ANZ...

It's a bit of a one-horse town at retail this week, with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance only having DLC as real competition.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a departure from the Metal Gear Solid series, giving us a new protagonist (Raiden) and changing genres entirely from stealth-action to crazy-sword-flailing-ninja-action.

Understandably, said sword will be slashing open giant helicopters while Raiden dances across incoming rocketfire. It actually hit late last week on the Friday, dropping on PS3 and 360 for AUD$89.95 or NZD$129.95.

Then there's Dawnguard, the DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim due out this week for PS3, promising vampires aplenty and a choice of whom to fight for. It received mixed reviews when it hit last year for PC and 360.
