Skylanders Giants, Doom 3 BFG Edition and Of Orcs and Men are all launching cross-platform in Australian retail this week.
Skylanders Giants has a tonne of weight behind it from Activision following the addictive collecting mechanics of the hugely successful original from 2011. The base pack will be available in Australia on Wednesday 17th October for PS3 and 360, PS3, Wii and 3DS for AUD$99.95 or on Friday 19th October in New Zealand for NZD$133.
Doom 3's BFG Edition is perhaps oddly named, considering that it's not only a re-vamped Doom 3 with its expansion pack plus a new campaign, but also Doom and Doom 2. Still, it's out on Wednesday 28th October at a budget price, going for AUD$39.95 or NZD$59.95 on PC or AUD$59.95 or NZD$79.95 on PS3 and 360.
Finally there's Of Orcs and Men, an RPG in which humans are the villains, enslaving the helpless orcs, coming for PS3 and 360 for AUD$69.95 and PC for AUD$49.95, also on Wednesday 18th October.
