Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) 2013 now accepting submissions

GCAP is due to take place in the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 21st-23rd October.

The theme for this year's professional developer event is 'Stories', broadly encompassing the way developers use narrative in games, stories from developers about their experiences and more, designed to impart information to other developers about how to do what they do better, as well as to enhance and grow the culture around creating games in Australia.

Submissions have opened today for those wishing to apply for panels, talks, workshops and masterclasses, with those looking to submit their own stories able to do so here.

GCAP takes place each year in Melbourne, is hosted by the Game Developers' Association of Australia, and invites international guests to speak to developers, students, aspiring developers and others on a wide range of topics to do with game design, production and more.
