eSports season kicks off for Call of Duty

Activision, Xbox and EB Games are partnering for the Australian and New Zealand Call of Duty eSports qualifiers.

On 2nd and 3rd March, Activision will be overseeing a series of online qualifying matches which will culminate at a finals event to be held in Sydney on 15th March.

New Zealand is in the mix as well, with seven teams coming being flown to Sydney after the Australian qualifiers and an eighth being flown over from New Zealand to compete.

The winning team is being flown to Hollywood to compete in the Call of Duty Championship on 5th-7th April.

Registration details will be made available tomorrow via the ACL Pro web site.
