With high demand and limited supply for the next-gen consoles launching this month, EB Games has introduced a scheme to enable customers to have their preorders prioritised.
EB is calling it "Fast Pass" although really it's more of a set of instructions. Customers who have preordered a PS4 or Xbox One are advised to complete all trade-ins and pay the full amount in advance of launch day. Once that's done, those customers will be added to a "VIP queue" to have their preorders fulfilled first.
EB has told us that there will be stock shortages on launch for the PS4 and they are currently notifying preorder customers of an alternative Killzone: Shadow Fall console bundle that will ship around two weeks after the PS4 launches on November 28. Customers are able to change their preorder to this new bundle, if they so choose.
EB is still advertising launch day stock availability for the Xbox One.
