EA announces Flight Control Rocket

Melbourne-based EA developer Firemint has a successor to its mega-hit Flight Control due out this month.

EA made the announcement today, noting Firemint's ongoing success with titles like Real Racing HD and more recently SPY Mouse and identifying Rocket as the evolution of the original Flight Control.

In the original Flight Control game, players had to draw flight paths for planes landing at an ever-increasingly busy airport. The sequel is set to build on this simple dynamic with alien fighters attacking a larger spacecraft in formations, with new ships entering the fray all the time and the ability to utilise powerups which come in the form of robots.

EA has release a trailer for the game, which you can view it here.

Flight Control Rocket is due out from Firemint some time in March this year for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
