EA and SCE Australia prepare for FIFA Interactive World Cup Finals

This Wednesday, the FIFA Interactive World Cup Finals will be held at The Australian National Maritime Musem in Sydney.

EA has confirmed the MCs for the night, including David Basheer (SBS) and MCV Pacific's own Guy Blomberg. Special guests from the football world will include Caitlin Foods (Matildas), Scott Jamieson (Sydney FC), D10 (street football legend), Danny Clayton (Channel V) and more to be announced.

Each winner from the previous qualifying events, held at EB Games stores around the country, will be in attendance to compete for the title of Australian champion and will be flown to the world finals for a chance to take world title and net AUD$20'000 prize money.

The timeline for the evening's entertainment will be as follows:

  • 6.30pm - Event begins at Australian National Maritime Museum, Murray St, Darling Harbour, Sydney.
  • 7.30pm - Skill demo by street footballer D10
  • 8.00pm - Celebrity FIFA tournament
  • 9.00pm - Australian FIFA Interactive World Cup Finals
  • 9.30pm - Winner announcement
