Head honcho for Xbox has left to become the CEO of social gaming giant Zynga.
The move occurs just weeks after a dismal reception to the Xbox One's always-connected strategy at E3, and fewers days still since Don Mattrick reversed the decision via the Xbox blog.
Zynga's current CEO, Mark Pincus, steps down on 8th July to be replaced by Mattrick, but will carry on as Chairman of the Board and Chief Product Officer.
Pincus speaks very highly of Mattrick's many accomplishments during his career. The full announcement can be read over on MCV UK.
