City Interactive snipes QV Software with new partnership

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has been announced worldwide for Q1 2012, with it's new ANZ distribution being handled by QV Software.

Ghost Warrior, in spite of not achieving high review scores, was very well received at retail, and the sequel was quickly announced. Local distribution for the title is now being handled by QV Software, as well as all others from City Interactive.

Paul Elliot, MD of QV Software, said: "We are very happy to be partnering with City Interactive as their exclusive distributor of Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 in ANZ. The excitement around the title is well warranted and we cannot wait to deliver it to gamers around the region."

Martin Kwasnica, International Sales Director at City Interactive, added: "Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 is one of our biggest releases for 2012 and the sequel to our best selling Sniper Ghost Warrior title. With more than 1.7M units sold and still growing we are sure to bring Sniper 2 to the next level."

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is powered by CryENGINE3, and will be available on PS3, 360 and PC early next year.
