Cat Deeley appearing in Sydney today to promote DanceStar Party

Consumers can participate in a competition today where Sony and Cat Deeley are looking to pick Australia's DanceStar.

The vivacious host of 'So You Think You Can Dance' US will be at Circular Quay, Sydney today to help host the competition, in honour of the launch of the new PS3 motion game DanceStar Party.

Hot off the heels of competitor Dance Central 2 for 360, DanceStar Party promises control over your own moves and complete social media functionality.

Deeley said: "I see so many talented dancers in my line of work, but you don’t have to be a pro to enjoy DanceStar Party. In typical PlayStation style this game brings you experiences that no one else can – a killer 40 song track list set to the original music video clips, and a whopping 160 choreographed dance routines."

DanceStar Party is out now on PS3 for AUD$49.95 or NZD$59.95.
