The Media Design School in Auckland is hosting a Games Summit, with special guests flying in from top-tier developers.
Allen Dilling, an animator, modeller and FX artist on World of Warcraft and earlier Warcraft iterations, will be joined by Max Aristov, an artist on DOTA 2 whose credits also include Far Cry and Wolfenstein.
The event is a chance for aspiring and working artists to get advice from those with significant industry experience, and will also feature New Zealand talent in the form of Chris Wilson (co-founder and lead designer at Grinding Gear Games) and Stephen Harris (founder of Ninja Kiwi).
The event will run from 15th-17th February in Auckland, and tickets are on sale here.
