Today, Microsoft has released Bing Voice Search in Australia, available in a free update for Xbox Live.
The service will provide Xbox users with the ability to use simple voice commands to issue search requests. Bing will find results from your home console as well as searching Xbox Live for content, and present all the results in one fell swoop.
Microsoft has been keen to push its peripheral console services out far and wide, promising at E3 this year that it would double the current number of available services (worldwide) throughout the next 12 months.
MCV spoke to Yusuf Mehdi, Xbox Chief Marketing Officer, at the event, asking him specifics about Microsoft's wider strategy of increasing the longevity of the 360 be continuin to broaden its range of services and functionality via Xbox Live.
