Australia's premiere iOS studio starts a dev diary for Real Racing 3

Firemonkeys recently had the honour of Rob Murray taking the stage as Apple announced the iPhone 5 to show off the system's strengths.

Now, the team is showcasing developer diaries to catalogue progress on the title, starting with this one alongside a massive EA mobile sale in time for the new handheld's release.

Clips of several members of the Real Racing 3 team are interspersed with shots of the game in action as they describe specifically how iPhone 5 is best being demonstrated using the hyper-real racer.

The highlighting of the individuals and the team generally by EA and the autonomy the team is being given to self-publicise is a move on EA's part which allows the mobile dev team(s) to take full advantage of direct fan interaction and social media, reducing the middleman blockages which can leave Australian fans isolated. Australian developers are seldom given this kind of prominence, so its good to see EA back Firemonkeys this heavily.
