Australia, Europe slow on the uptake with Nintendo digital sales

News has come through from Nintendo's quarterly earnings report of a disparity in the rate at which countries are digitally downloading.

While in Japan, New Super Mario Bros is seeing over 15% of its sales coming from the Nintendo shop, Australian and European digital sales have been 'relatively mild', clocking in at only 3-10%.

This wouldn't be much of a surprise in Australia, where slow broadband speeds and low caps have kept the country from fully embracing digital platforms en masse, but with such small, easily downloadable titles as can be seen on the 3DS, it's still surprisingly modest.
