Big Ant's Rugby League Live 2 is slated for an 11th October release through locally-based publisher HES.
The title sees no competition as the only game for its sport, and will see a modest but guaranteed fan base when it launches in a few weeks' time.
Sebastian Giompaolo, MD of HES, said: "Rugby League Live 2 will deliver to our consumers the most realistic gameplay ever, as well as the most requested new features like the extensive Player Creator and 10 Year Career Mode.”
The game will be hitting PS3 and 360.
