AusGamers wrangles media for a most anticipated list

Local editors have all come together to drop up their thoughts on the best games coming out in late 2012 and into 2013.

The piece is curated over on AusGamers, and includes the opinions of everyone from IGN to PC Powerplay.

There are a few clear winners, with Assassin's Creed III, Halo 4, Dishonored (sic) and Far Cry 3 being top of most of the journalist community's Christmas list, with nods to an assortment of personal favourites on the smaller scale tipped for next year.

There's a fair mix of almost the entire gamut spare for Call of Duty otherwise, with a curious mild nod to such behemoths as Battlefield, Grand Theft Auto and The Last of Us.

A couple of contributors pointed to Retro City Rampage, which does appear to have a heavy following in its build up.
