Former Microsoft community manager Ashley Jenkins has taken on a new role at Meteor Entertainment as its PR and Marketing Manager.
Meteor is responsible for Hawken, a free-to-play multipleyer PC mech action title slated for release late this year, which has garnered significant press coverage thus far.
Jenkins comes to Meteor from a competitive gaming and community management / digital marketing backround, having previously worked on Microsoft and Ubisoft titles, as well as being a founding memeber of the Frag Dolls competitive gaming clan from 2004.
Jenkins told MCV: "I'm super excited to be joining Meteor Entertainment to promote a game as ambitious as Hawken. It's a great opportunity for me to work more closely with all the wonderful games industry professionals I've met here in Australia and I can't wait to get started."
