After only a brief stint at Meteor Entertainment as PR and Marketing Manager, Ashley Jenkins has moved to IGN and taken on a new role.
Jenkins will be leaving Australia behind and moving to San Francisco to take on the responsibility of Head of Community and Social Media for IGN.
Jenkins told MCV: "After 4 amazing years in Australia, leaving is bittersweet. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to lead IGN Entertainment's community and social media strategy onward into the future, but leaving the Australian games industry was not an easy decision to make."
"During my time here my industry colleagues have welcomed me with open arms and I've learned so much from everyone. I hope I can do those lessons justice back in the US."
Prior to taking on her role at Meteor, which she took up in June this year, Jenkins worked in community management for Microsoft and Ubisoft, as well as being a founding member of the competitive gaming clan Fragdolls in 2004.
MCV wishes Jenkins all the best in her endeavours abroad.
