Ashes Cricket 2013 has been pulled from sale on Steam and its retail release is shrouded in doubt.
The game, which has been without a release date since its delay in the summer, made a surprise appearance on Steam last week and was finally released on Friday (November 22).
However, feedback from Steam users has, to be kind, been scathing with criticisms aimed at the graphics and animation and numerous reports of bugs and poor performance.
The console versions are still without a release date – Videogamer reports that rumours suggest it failed certification “on at least one occasion”.
Having missed the Ashes series in England entirely and with the first test of the second Ashes already behind us, the clock is ticking for publisher 505 Games and Australian distributor All Interactive Entertainment to sort the title and get it released before it’s too late.
