Sony has sent word through that the Australian / New Zealand release date for God of War Ascension will be 14th March 2013.
This falls one day after the North American release and one day before Europe.
Meanwhile, the special edition for the game will involve a steelbook case, a digital download of the game's soundtrack, avatars and bonus XP.
The collector's edition will be the big cheese, however, sporting an 8 inch Kratos figurine, all the game's DLC at no extra cost, plus everything contained in the above special edition.
The PS3 exclusive will reveal the awakening story of one of gaming's most violent anti-heroes when it lands next year.
