Former Naughty Dog developer Amy Hennig has joined EA's Visceral Games.

Hennig, who departed the Sony studio last month, joins the Dead Space developer to work on an upcoming Star Wars title to be published by EA.

Announcing the news on EA's The Beat blog, Visceral head Steve Papoutsis wrote, "I could sense that what really excited her about this opportunity was Star Wars. Amy’s a huge fan. We happen to be making a Star Wars game. Just thinking about the possibilities made both of us even more excited about having her join the team."

At Naughty Dog, Hennig was the creative director on the Uncharted series. When she left the studio there were reports she was "forced out" by The Last of Us leads Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley. Naughty Dog later denied these reports.
